Overcome Evil By Good

We are living in the days when the world will call evil good and good evil.
Truth is everyone wants to feel accepted and loved, and so people will reject anything that makes them feel otherwise.

JESUS is the answer. The problem is that people see followers of JESUS tearing down sin and quoting scripture and they associate that with gay bashing, discrimination, judgment .. And they end up feeling hated and rejected. The result is they will turn to something or someone who will accept and encourage their lifestyles (even if its not real).

I know Satan is behind all of this,  but how do we war against Satan?  By reacting with condemnation? Isn't that what he does?  We aren't supposed to accept sin.  But we are supposed to accept people.  I would not have given my life to JESUS,  if all I got from Christians was rejection and judgment. What brought me to JESUS was unconditional love.  I felt accepted even though I was a mess and couldn't  measure up to the "standards"of Christianity.

We have to allow the HOLY SPIRIT to do the convicting and we need to allow time for healing. 
In the mean time, we should be praying, loving,  and allowing our lifestyles to be the true example of who JESUS is.

Romans 12:14-21  Give blessing and not curses to those who are cruel to you.
Take part in the joy of those who are glad, and in the grief of those who are sorrowing.
Be in harmony with one another. Do not have a high opinion of yourselves, but be in agreement with common people. Do not give yourselves an air of wisdom.
Do not give evil for evil to any man. Let all your business be well ordered in the eyes of all men.
As far as it is possible for you be at peace with all men.
Do not give punishment for wrongs done to you, dear brothers, but give way to the wrath of God; for it is said in the holy Writings, Punishment is mine, I will give reward, says the Lord.
But if one who has hate for you is in need of food or of drink, give it to him, for in so doing you will put coals of fire on his head.
Do not let evil overcome you, but overcome evil by good.
